Ceramic Lamp, Attributed to Tommaso Barbi580€

Large ceramic table lamp with leaf canopy, attributed to Italian designer Tommaso Barbi. Produced in Italy in the late 1970s or early 1980s, likely by B Ceramiche. Both the base and shade are ceramic, finished in a glossy green glaze with relief textures and natural tonal variations. The lamp is wired for use and in working condition.

Tommaso Barbi (1934–2020) was an Italian designer known for his playful and organic approach to interiors. Active from the 1960s to the 1980s, he created lighting and furniture characterised by sculptural forms, bold materials, and natural motifs. His lamps, often incorporating leaves or petals, have become sought-after examples of Italian mid-century design.

This example retains its original leaf-shaped ceramic shade and base. A professional repair is visible at the top of the stem, reflected in the price.
