Acrylic Table Lamp by Harco Loor, 1980s590€

Designed by Harco Loor in the Netherlands during the 1980s, this large table lamp features a dome-shaped acrylic shade mounted on a clear acrylic stem and circular base. The visible coiled cord running through the stem adds a playful design detail, characteristic of the period’s inventive approach to materials and form.

The lamp reflects the bold, futuristic aesthetic of late 20th-century Dutch design, where simple geometric forms and modern materials were used to create pieces that stood out in any interior. Its substantial size makes it well suited as a centrepiece on a sideboard, console, or desk.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with the original maker’s sticker still present. The underside of the base shows some wear, normal for the material and consistent with age, but not detracting from its overall appearance.
