Pre-Industrial Wooden Bench / Side Table160€
This piece comes from the pre-industrial era and was likely used as a small workbench or stool. Its proportions and solid build make it easy to repurpose, as a side table, a display for art books, or even as a quiet sculptural presence in a hallway or reading nook.
It’s made of thick wood planks joined with visible old nails and dowels. The surface bears marks from use over time, which adds character but doesn’t compromise its stability. The bench is steady, level, and has good weight.
We’ve styled it here with a flower vase and a book, but it works equally well next to a sofa, armchair, or bed. Whether you use it functionally or simply as an object with history, it fits naturally into both rustic and more modern spaces.
Just cleaned and lightly waxed.
